Rocca al Mare School and Audiere’s joint project to help deaf children
On Friday 8 April, the final phase of the Rocca al Mare School and Audiere non-profit organisation joint project to collect money for cochlear implant purchases will begin. The school pupils, supervised by teacher Mari Viik, made birdhouses during the winter. Now they will be sold and the proceeds will be used to buy new cochlear implants for small children who are deaf. This coincides with the beginning of the eighth year of Audiere’s activities! We thank the pupils from Rocca al Mare School and their supervising teacher Mari Viik for cooperating with us in such a lovely way, and we encourage everyone to buy the birdhouses!
To buy a birdhouse, please get in touch with our board members by either calling or e-mailing us. The phone numbers and e-mail addresses are listed in the Contacts section.

Thank you for working with us in 2010!
This year we have decided to donate our Christmas gift money to charity. Our donation will support the work of the Audiere non-profit organisation, which was created to help deaf children: the money will be used to finance the purchase of a cochlear implant for a lovely 11-month old girl, Pauliine, who was born deaf.
Due to the cochlear implant, Pauliine will grow up in a world that has sound. She will go to an ordinary nursery and will then attend an ordinary school. The implant will change Pauliine’s life: she will become a hearer.
Thank you, dear colleagues. Happy New Year to you all!
Yours, the staff of Kalev Spa
